Three people were transported to the hospital after a crash on Route 901 in Barry Township on Friday afternoon.

The crash occurred around 2:00pm when a sedan and passenger van collided at the intersection of Route 901 and Taylorsville Road.

The three people involved in the crash were extracted from their vehicles by emergency personnel and transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the crash.

Responding to the scene were emergency personnel from Lavelle, Ashland, Gordon, and Hegins along with EMS from Ashland and Minersville.
