Clarke Thorell Biography:-

In June 2018, Clarke Thorell joined the Broadway cast of My Fair Lady at the Lincoln Center Theater, where he played Professor Zoltan Karpathy and Henry Higgins as Harry Hadden-understudy. Paton’s Clarke made his Broadway debut in The Who’s Tommy, directed by Des McAnuff, and appeared as Kruger in the Nathan Lane, John Slattery, and John Goodman-led The Front Page Broadway revival. He played Jim Farrell in Titanic, Rooster Hannigan in the 2013 Broadway revival of Annie, and Corny Collins in the Broadway production of Hairspray. He also created the parts of Corny Collins and Jim Farrell. In the performance of Sinatra: His Voice at Radio City Music Hall, Clarke filled in for guitar prodigy John Pizzarelli. His Universe His Way, appeared as Harry Bright in the long-running Mamma Mia!, and co-starred with Megan Hilty in the Gentlemen Prefer Blondes performance presented by New York City Center Encores!

Sondheim’s Saturday Night, the critically acclaimed Cloud Nine at The Atlantic Theater Company, Satellites, Lone Star Love, and the New York Theatre Workshop’s developmental production of Sondheim’s Wise Guys, all starring Clarke as a 4-year-old British girl named Cathy, are among the plays he has performed in off-Broadway. Sam Mendes and Ted Sperling provided the musical direction. He has performed in a number of regional productions, including Orsino in Jack O’Brien’s Twelfth Night at the Old Globe in San Diego, Charles in McCarter Theatre’s School for Scandal, and Homer in Tina Landau’s Floyd Collins in San Diego, Philadelphia, and Chicago.
