Vikings: Valhalla is a historical drama streaming television series created by Jeb Stuart for Netflix. It is a sequel to History’s Vikings, filmed in County Wicklow, Ireland. The 8-episode first season premiered on February 25, 2022.

Who plays Jarl Kare Vikings?

Asbjorn Krogh Nissen was born on September 4, 1981 in Silkeborg, Denmark. He has become well known with the successor of the hit series Vikings. Asbjorn Krogh Nissen landed the role of Jarl Kare, alongside Sam Corlett, Frida Gustavsson, Leo Suter, Johannes Haukur Johannesson, and Bradley Freegard.

It is a truth that he got their acting role because of his high stature, but we cannot deny that he is a highly skilled actor. A year before Valhalla, he was in “Try Hard” and before that in “Equinox.”

In the 2019 movie “Valhalla – The Legend of Thor,” casting director Rie Hedegaard allotted him the role of Odin, and in the 2020 show “Equinox,” he portrayed a Nurse.

As a kid, Nissen developed an interest in art. He completed his studies in arts at The Danish National School of Performing Arts in the year 2012 but kept doing theatre. Some of his favorite stage works are “The Danish Civil War,” “Festen,” “Twelfth Night: Or What You Will,” “Kirsebærhaven,” and “The Visit of the Royal Physician.”
