Despite the challenges, he embraced life fully, finding love and marrying his soulmate, journeying to South Africa to produce MTV's 'The Challenge,' and establishing the Team Jmared Foundation to support individuals facing similar diagnoses.
The foundation, through its collaboration with Memorial Sloan Kettering, has raised over $300,000 to date, providing crucial assistance to patients and their families with the various nonmedical costs associated with cancer treatment.
According to the foundation's website, "Jared’s family will be carrying on his legacy through the Team Jmared Foundation to continue supporting patients battling cancer."
